Welcome to the House of Horror! Shall we begin our story? [[Begin]]

The TV starts to glitch, and the power shuts off. You're a little confused,but the occasional power outage is no big deal. It's too dark to see, do you [[Check around your room]] to see if there's something around you that can help or [[Approach the door]] to check out the rest of the house.

Let the fun begin! [[Next]]

You are in your room. Your parents are away for the weekend, and your sister is at a friends. You’re in your bedroom alone and decide to have a fun movie night and put on some Shrek. I choose(mouseover-replace: "I choose")[to eat pizza] Everything is just [[fine]].

You walk out of the room and into the hallway, for your eyes to only meet an illuminated figure. You're not alone. A few feet away is a girl your age, barely visible, flickering in and out of existance before your eyes, and then slowly fading away. You're left in the empty hallway with your heart pounding loudly and feeling heavier than usual. [[run downstairs]] [[run upstairs]] to the attic, where you usually feel comforted

As you go downstairs you decide to go into the [[living room]] the [[kitchen]] for some water, you must not be feeling well

The power is starting to flicker on and off. The Tv is on for some reason, with some Family Guy running. You're already shaken up by what happened and just need to calm your nerves. [[grab the remote on the coffee table to try changing the channel]] or [[just watch it at this point]]

As you drink your water, you hear a loud tapping at the window -- TAP TAP TAP -- Looking at at window, all you see is darkness ouside. Must have been the wind. But now you've spilled your water everywhere. Great. [[clean it up with a napkin]]

The attic sounded like a better idea. You expect to see stacks upon stacks of dusty boxes, but to your surprise, there's only a lone chest you've never seen before. [[open chest]] or nothing here, lets [[run downstairs]]

You open the chest. Inside is a doll with human eyes wih jingling bells hanging off her dress. There's also a blood red candle and – next to that – a match. It looks like a match from the missing box from your drawer. You look up, the attic light is dimming. You'd better hurry and make a decision. [[Light the candle ASAP ; it's getting dark]] or Get out and [[run downstairs]], it's getting a bit creepy

[[Approach the door]]

It's too dark to see, but flashes of lightning outside the window throw occasional flashes of light against the walls that illuminate a recognizable shape: a drawer next to you. Unfortunately, when you open it, you're outta luck. The matches you had in your drawer seem to be missing. You [[open your drawer]], and grab the flashlight next to you.

You slowly feel paralyzed; you can't take your eyes off the screen. It begins to glow brighter and brighter until it is a painful white light spotted with black specks. You start seeing these specks [[everywhere]]. You blink. The screen goes back to showing some Family Guy. You honestly might be dehydrated, why dont you go to the [[kitchen]] for some water?

This terrible wave of weariness washes over you. Your legs are shaking, your brain feels foggy. Everything spins as though you are about to faint. But you don't;// what's happening to you? // You stand up and hold onto the couch for balance: even though it was a few seconds (or was it longer?), you were worried your body would remain paralyzed. You'd better get something from the [[kitchen]] to help calm your nerves.

You hear creaking from where the window is, but the creaking is too loud; it sounds like it's coming from inside the house. You hear your heart pounding rapidly. Trying not to panic, you [[breathe in]] and breathe out.

You check your surroundings. A dim shadow in the shape of a women is in the corner, a dark shape against the whiteness of the room. She calls out your name and beckons you to come closer. [[walk closer]]

You wake up to an alarm. Your clock is blinking 12:00 at you. Shrek is blaring on your TV. There must have been a power outage sometime during the night. ''//What was it you dreamt of last night?//''

The room lights, and everything starts to flicker. Weirded out, you get up and make your way to the [[kitchen]]

You light the candle with the match and take a look around you. Deep inside the chest is a crumpled piece of paper. [[open it up]]

As you walk closer, you see a girl with longer hair, tall and slender. You almost mistake her for your sister. You're not breathing properly, but insead shakily dragging air into your lungs. The faceless woman looks up at you. Expecting her to talk, a voice echoes in your head. ''// " I've been waiting for you, and you've finally found me. Since you did not run away, I will give you an opportunity to live. It has been a while since I had someone to play with. I have a few riddles for you. If you answer them all correctly, I'll let you live."//'' [[continue]]

[[accept the challenge]] [[accept death]]

Question 1: "It Can Be Cruel, Poetic, Or Blind. But When It's Denied, It's Violence You May Find" [[Justice]] [[Faith]]

Correct! Next Question: You measure my life in hours and I serve you by expiring. I’m quick when I’m thin and slow when I’m fat. The wind is my enemy. [[a tree]] [[candle]]

Last and final question; "What Does A Liar Do When He's Dead?" [[He's caught dead in his tracks]] [[He lies still]]

There is a pause. The woman stands up. You immediately get ready to run. But instead, without a word, she walks to the window and stares outside longingly, fading into the shadows. And just like that..you're left alone. Alone. You win. You look up at the clock ticking. It's almost 4 AM. You can't help that your eyes are growing heavier. Your legs become jelly, as you tiredly collaspe on the kitchen floor, surrounded in the [[darkness]].

You look around. There's nothing else for you here. [[run downstairs]]

The women's face slowly morphes, until you are face to face with...yourself? Grinning, she slowly raises a knife. You feel the impact. A wetness dripping down your chest. With ringing ears, you see [[red]] .

The woman stands up slowly. You freeze as she immediately lunges, with her claws digging into your throat, choking and slashing at you. She unhinges their jaw, and all you see is [[red]] .

The women gets up from her spot and hovers over to you. Claws spike out of her nail beds, with the women's irises appearing, turning dark red with slits. You freeze, with the claws digging into your throat, choking and slashing at you. She unhinges her jaw, your vision turning [[red]].

Your surroundings change to a forest, with a large tree looming over you, shaking in the wind. The wind fills your eardrums. As you fall to your knees, you're struck in the chest with something that is sharp but deep, with it's rough surface scratching your skin. As you lie dying on the forest floor with the trunk over your body, the last thing you hear is a blood curling howl and your world falls into [[darkness]] .

"Get up!!" You wake up to someone shaking you. It's your sister. //How long were you asleep for?// "Wow the power outage was insane, you should've texted me! You could've come to Max's place with me. Also, why were you just sitting alone in the kitchen corner?"
